Dal 1955

Pionieri nella fabbricazione di plastificatrici industriali.

Our company is located in Burago di Molgora, about 20km far from Milan, on a 17.000 mq surface,
of which 9.500 mq covered, on more levels and provided with 20T overhead cranes.
The plant can easily be reached by car taking the highways nearby. The Company was founded
after WW2 with the purpose of reconditioning the printing machines damaged by the war and
later specialized in converting machines.

In 1955, after deep project and experimentation, we proposed our first paper and paperboard
laminating machine working continuously: a one-of-its-kind machine that arouse immediate
interest and was a total success.
Later, the production grew and spread into: glue-based laminating reel to reel machines, coating
machines for adhesive tapes, extruded PE-coating/laminating machines; coating machines for
paper and paperboard sheets, calandering machines, embossing machines, laminators for
windowed paperboard.
In 1964 the PAPERPLAST International brand was registered. All machines produced from then on
will bear that seal.

Market demand for lamination, also due to PAPERPLAST contribution, reached a level so high the
Company decided to invest a lot of time and money into the study, research and innovation of
laminating machines.
All efforts have been rewarded by the trust our Italian and International customers place in us
every day. What makes PAPERPLAST machines unique is the amount of international patents
paving the way in the sector, then becoming common solutions and devices.

PAPERPLAST is always searching for innovation and each model is constantly updated to its latest
version.
The technical department is provided with modern equipment and CAD workstations allowing an
accurate and professional execution of new projects.
To close “Paperplast’s quality cycle”, in our large plant all machines assembling and testing
processes are completed before shipping to the Customer.
Our “standard” production includes a wide range of machines for all purposes; from the smallest,
less expensive yet always performing DRY “entry level” models, to the more sophisticated water-
based adhesive or solventless models, up to 1650×2050 mm size.

On all sheet fed machines we install high performance PAPERPLAST feeders, produced and
patented under the brand “SAMAL”
In addition to so far described, PAPERPLAST has always been involved in the research and
development of new projects to meet Customers’ requirements.
