The company production facilities cover an area of more than 17.000 sqm. in Burago di Molgora, at about 20 kms. from Milan, in a green area that can be easily reached from the highways in the vicinity.

Founded after the second world war with the purpose of reconditioning graphic machines damaged by the war, it later diversified in manufacturing specialized converting equipments.

In 1955, after extensive research and development, the first practical sheet-fed industrial laminating machine for paper and board working non-stop was launched: it was absolutely the first machine of its type and generated an immediate interest and a flattering success.

Afterwards the production increased and specialized in: reel to reel wet laminating machines; adhesive coating machines for tapes; extrusion coating machines; varnishing machines for paper and board sheets; glossing calenders; embossing machines; window laminating machines.

The international trade mark PAPERPLAST was registered in 1964 and since then every manufactured machine has carried the Paperplast name.

The demand for laminating machines, thanks largely to the dynamic contribution of Paperplast, increased from minimum to such an extent that the Company decided to dedicate major investments in time and money for the study, research and innovation of this kind of equipment.

These efforts have been rewarded by the achievement of a great goal: offering the worldwide widest range of technology and maximum sizes (up to cms. 160 x 160) to meet any customer's need.

Common features to all Paperplast machines are: many patents which are internationally valid, the modular production system, the reliability, the easiness of use and the rapidity of size change, without forgetting the ratio quality/price.

Paperplast is steadily seeking innovation and every model of machine is periodically updated with the latest improvements, which can be used also to existing machines.

Of course, the manufactured machines are built conforming to CE directive, with the apposition of the relative trade mark and the issue of the required literature.

The Research and Design office has modern equipment and different CAD stations to allow the professional and quick carrying out of new projects.

In the assembling factory the assembling and testing of the machines before shipment are finished.

Mr. Alvaro Rossi, the founder of the company and President of the Board of Directors, having a wide technical background in the paper converting, personally supervises each new project.

The staff of Sales and Administration Departments headed by Mr. Marco Rossi has a fluent knowledge of language and experience in export, so as for the staff of the After Sale Department.
